Adrian Govier

Adrian has lived in Holcombe for 15 years but has family ties and links to Holcombe and the surrounding area spanning more than 60 years.  After working in the electronics industry and being involved in the Royal Navy Reserves and Cadet forces in the UK for 20 years, he then changed jobs and began travelling throughout Asia working in the Hydrographic and Seismic survey industry before returning full time to Holcombe in 2022 and joining the Parish Council in 2023.

A young daughter keeps him active and up to date with current technology, which is where he provides some support to the Council activities as well as wanting to maintain the village values and history.  He is specifically responsible for providing the link between the council and the IT provider, Parish Online.
